This morning took us to Salamanca Market, Hobart's weekly street market. Luckily most products were local not like our Chinese Lake Eola street fairs. We were looking for the wool socks booth owned by a couple I met in Sri Lanka earlier this year. Eric and I now both own colorful wool socks - very practical for Florida.
We had local fish and chips on the pier. When we finished you could see the oil pooling in the bottom of the bag.
In the afternoon we went to the Botanical Gardens. It was probably one of the best I've seen anywhere. It is the second oldest in Australia, after Sydney.
Dinner was amazing - Australian mussels in a spicy red sauce. Our first choice was booked so we will return there tomorrow.

Today's adventure took us to MONA - The Museum of Old and New Art. Let me tell you there were some very weird and edgy exhibits.
Originally Eric wanted to go there because in the evening everyone is nude. Luckily they stopped that last year because there weren't many pretty people.
My favorite exhibit was a water cascade which spelled words. There was Obama and Sandy. I hope my video uploads.
You really had to stretch your imagination as to what is art. But it was a fun sunny day.
For dinner we went to Muras, a fine seafood restaurant near the harbour.

For our last day in Hobart Eric and I took a walk to Sandy Bay. The houses were quaint, but the flowers colorful and amazing. We climbed many hills as we wandered.
Our flight to Melbourne was short and uneventful. I saw Eric off to Sydney as I took the bus into Melbourne. It was great seeing Gary and Sebastian after two years.
